Charge Parameters Measurement Platform
A charging parameter measurement platform was established to investigate the charging characteristics of lunar dust particles in different charging modes, plasma environment parameters and particle sizes.
The platform consists of four parts: a particle dropping device, a Faraday cup, a plasma generator, and a signal processing circuit. The particle dropping device controls the dropping of small particles one by one by energizing a push-pull electromagnet with an aperture of 1-4 mm in diameter depending on the size of the particles, and the electromagnet is fastened to the dropping device by screws.

The vacuum chamber: The vacuum chamber is a cylindrical horizontal structure with a diameter of 1m and an overall length of 1.5m. Because of the small size of the chamber, it is placed on a 60cm high platform for easy in-chamber operation. The ultimate vacuum degree is 1E-4Pa. The chamber has been grounded, shock-absorbed, anti-noise and anti-static measures.
